Swiss Army Knife

This 3D model was created to illustrate the concept of the MBA as the "Swiss Army knife" of graduate degrees for the cover of Simon Business, the magazine of the Simon School of Business. This was an opportunity to work on something small scale (as opposed to an eight-story building), and the close camera position made every detail count. The shell, springs, blades, and other parts were each modeled separately and assembled in Autodesk Maya, creating a model that could be easily articulated and positioned as needed for rendering.
